Product Information and Wavier
To provide the best conditions for your landscape curb installation you need to make sure the following steps are taken:
1) Turn your irrigation off at least 24 hours before installation and for 48 hours after installation.
2) Mow your grass prior to installation and notify your lawn service company to skip services for the week after installation. Also do not schedule fertilization and pest control applications until the curb has cured.
3) Notify your neighbors that you are having curb installed and that it will be easy to damage during the first day or two after installation. Most damage is from unsuspecting neighbors, children and pets.
4) Make sure any last minute changes are communicated to the installation crew and clearly understood by all concerned. Once the curbing starts to cure, changes are not possible.
* Because landscape curbing is permanent in nature, it is imperative that any changes, questions, or concerns be addressed prior to the start of installation. It logically follows that the right to make additional changes or dispute installation would warranty applicable charges with some reasonable restrictions.
* The HOMEOWNER is responsible for clearly marking any and all irrigation, utility and electrical systems within the curb installation area. Cables, wires and sprinkler systems etc. that are not to the depth of city code will not be installer's responsibility if damaged.
*HOMEOWNER is aware that most damage to curing happens immediately after installation and is usually accidentally done by neighbors, pets or unattended children. CURB-IT CO, INC. cannot be responsible for any and all damage done by others.
* Hairline cracking is considered a normal part of the cement curing process. Replacement of curb is only done if the crack results from faulty installation procedures and results in an unstable section of curbing or a section of curing which has moved as a result. ALL damage done by others will be repaired with a $ 325.00 minimum charge.
* The HOMEOWNER must be on site at the time of installation to inform of any changes, prior to installation. The absence of the HOMEOWNER will result in forfeiture of the right to make changes.
* HOMEOWNER has the responsibility for making the choices of color and installer will comply with the selection as closely as possible. HOMEOWNER understands that the color process for cement products is influenced by a multiple of variables which are outside the scope of the installer to control and CURB-IT CO. INC, will not responsible for slight color variations from samples shown. HOMEOWNER is also aware that the final color will not be achieved until the curbing has gone through the full curing process which is approximately thirty days.
*HOMEOWNER understands that the removal of additional sod or sod other than that removed to facilitate the pathway of the landscape curbing is not the responsibility of the installer.
